The Janus 8801 is a dual redundant controller, dual 4Gb Fibre to SATA-II / SAS RAID storage subsystem, capable of up to 48TB of raw storage. Provides 32TB of RAID5 storage with the 24 included 1.5TB hard drives. Its compact 4U - 24 bay chassis features hot-swappable power supplies and fans. The RAID controller, fans, and power supplies are modularized allowing for easy removal from the rear of the unit. Also features a CGI-based GUI allowing easy remote configuration and monitoring using a web browser. On-line expansion allows the user to add drives to an existing array without interrupting operation. Battery backup module included. Dual flash ROM for increased availability and reliability. Five year warranty available. Accepts up to 3 JBOD expansion modules, bringing total storage capacity to over 120TB.
