The Janus 8801 is a dual redundant controller, dual 4Gb Fibre to SATA-II / SAS RAID storage subsystem, capable of up to 48TB of raw storage. Provides 21TB of RAID5 storage with the 24 included 1TB hard drives. Its compact 4U - 24 bay chassis features hot-swappable power supplies and fans. The RAID controller, fans, and power supplies are modularized allowing for easy removal from the rear of the unit. Also features a CGI-based GUI allowing easy remote configuration and monitoring using a web browser. On-line expansion allows the user to add drives to an existing array without interrupting operation. Available with a battery backup. Dual flash ROM for increased availability and reliability. Five year warranty available. Accepts up to 3 JBOD expansion modules, bringing total storage capacity to over 120TB.
