Electronix has recently expanded into the former Time Warner Cable building at One Herald Square, Fairborn, a move which will allow Electronix to provide additional services and products to their large local and national customer base.

Electronix also provides other services, including media duplication, Internet services, and data mass storage products.
Electronix donates computer to the Fairborn Police
FAIRBORN, OH (January 14, 2006) The Fairborn Internet Crime Division has apprehended more than 50 offenders since its beginning, and a new computer from a local electronics whiz will keep that number rising as long as crimes continue.
David Kushner, owner of Electronix, at 1 Herald Square, donated a new, custom-built computer after deciding in December he wanted to partner with the police.
This helps us keep up with state-of-the-art technology that continues to change, so with the generosity of Electronix and David, taxpayers did not have to put any money out for a new computer, said Police Chief Terry Barlow.
Kushner said he has children of his own and wanted to aide the fight against child predators. It is a good feeling knowing our equipment helped out the Fairborn Police Department, he said.
This February marks the 20th anniversary of Electronix, and Barlow expressed his thanks from the entire department for the local stores partnership in fighting crime. By Rainey Howarth, Staff Writer, Fairborn Daily Herald
Businessman gives $15,000 worth of machines to Fairborn district
FAIRBORN, OH (December 16, 2004) - With money tight in Fairborn schools, where even new textbooks have been put on hold, local businessman Dave Kushner worries that students might get left behind in the electronic dust of the rocket-paced information age. So last week, Kushner, owner of Electronix Corp. at 1 Herald Square, got in the Christmas spirit and donated 10 state-of-the-art Pentium computers to Fairborn High School, complete with laser printers, scanners and monitors.
Fairborn has a strong business community and has given a lot to our company, said Kushner, who founded Electronix in 1986. The school levy failed (three times this year) so we felt it was time to step up and do our part to try to help out where we can. Kushner estimates the computers, which are still under construction by Electronix employees, to have a total retail value of at least $15,000.
It is fantastic for us, Fairborn High School Principal Bob Cotter said. With our finances the way they are, this will upgrade two separate areas for our kids for both their career exploration and (for research) in the media center. The 5,200-pupil school district computers are becoming obsolete, incapable of handling new software, and are creating maintenance headaches for technicians, said Randy Durrum, the school district network administrator. We do get donated computers, but these were assembled at Electronix and we are happy to get new computers anytime we can, Durrum said.
Durrum said the district slowly is upgrading its computer stock, but we do not have the computers we need, particularly at the elementary level.
Electronix provides electronic and computer parts, services and data to business, government, schools and individual consumers. With more than 10,000 products in stock and roughly $5 million in annual sales, the bulk of its business is through the Internet and mail orders, Kushner said.
A member of the Fairborn Chamber of Commerce, Kushner said he hopes his donation will inspire others in the community to help the school district, too.
Fairborn schools need the help right now, he said. By Anthony Gottschlich, Dayton Daily News.
New service from Electronix Corporation: Remote Secure Data Backup
Fairborn, OH (April 28, 2004) - Disaster strikes in many forms. Businesses that depend heavily on computer data are especially vulnerable. A study by International Data Corp. discloses it takes 19 days and costs $17,000 to re-enter just 20 megabytes worth of sales and marketing data. Retrieving accounting records is even worse; they require 21 days and $19,000.
Thousands of businesses lose millions of dollars worth of data to fire, power outages, theft, equipment failure, virus, and even simple operator mistakes. Studies show that nearly half the companies that lose their data in a disaster never reopen. Ninety percent of these data losses occur because of power failures, leaks, loose cables, user mistakes, and other hardware, software, and human errors.
With hard drive prices around a dollar per gigabyte and plunging, the threat escalates as companies buy larger drives and maintain more data on-line. Backing up your data becomes more and more important, but very few businesses do it, or do it right. Most business owners would be appalled if they knew the risk they are taking by failing to properly back up their data.
It`s more important than ever to protect the data your business depends on with a solid backup strategy. That`s where we can help. We provide a secure, automatic and inexpensive solution that can make sure your critical data is fully protected.
Using your modem or dedicated internet connection, our new Remote Backup Service will backup your files to the Electronix off-site data storage facility/vault. Every night, your critical files are compressed, securely encrypted, and transmitted to our facility - automatically. Files are encrypted using DES or Blowfish - the same technology used by banks, Wall Street, and the US Military for secure file transmission. Only the customer can unlock the files. Each morning, an email confirmation is sent to the customer with details regarding the overnight backup status.
The need for expensive backup hardware, tapes and other media, and supplemental personnel expense is virtually eliminated. The service, for the majority of small businesses, costs less than a dollar a day, and sets up on any Windows-based computer in minutes.
