Section 3: Hazards Identification
Eyes:  Vapours from this product are irritating to the eyes. This product causes irritation, redness, and pain.
Skin:  May cause defatting, drying, and cracking of the skin.  Skin contact can cause irritation, especially under the finger nails.
Inhalation:  Mist or spray may be irritating to the nose, throat, and respiratory tract. May cause hearing loss, liver damage, kidney damage, central nervous system depression, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. 
Ingestion:  This product causes irritation, a burning sensation of the mouth and throat, and abdominal pain. May cause hearing loss, liver damage, kidey damage, central nervous system depression, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. 
Chronic:  Prolonged use may cause dermatitis.

Section 4: First Aid Measures
Eyes:  Remove contact lenses. Flush with water or saline for 20 minutes. If irritation persists, repeat flushing. Obtain medical attention immediately.
Skin:  Wash skin with soap and water for 15 minutes. If irritation, redness, or a burning sensation developes and persists, obtain medical advice.
Inhalation:  Immediately remove from exposure to fresh air.  If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Give artificial respiration ONLY if breathing has stopped. Give cardiopulmonary resucitation (CPR) if there is no breathing AND no pulse. Get medical aid immediately.
Ingestion:  Do not induce vomiting. If  conscious, give 1/2 - 1 glasses of water. Get medical aid immediately.

Extinguishing Media:  Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or chemical foam. 
General Information:  Will burn if involved in a fire. Containers may explode in the heat of a fire. Vapors from this product are heavier than air and may "travel" to a source of ignition and "flash back". Rags and other materials containing this product may heat and spontaneously ignite. Store wiping rags and similar material in metal cans with tight fitting lids.

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
Spill Procedure:  Remove all sources of ignition. Provide adequate ventilation. Wear appropriate personal protection. Sprinkle absorbent compound onto spill, then sweep into a plastic or metal container. Wipe up further residue with paper towel and place in container. Wash spill area with soap and water. 

Section 7: Handling and Storage
Handling:  Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not ingest or inhale. Do not expose container to heat or flame. 
Storage:  Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from incompatible substances.

Ventilation:  Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below exposure limits. 
Personal Protection:  Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles. Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Use a NIOSH approved respirator when necessary.

Section 10: Stability and Reactivity
Stability:  Stable at normal temperatures and pressures. 
Conditions to avoid:  Temperatures over 40C, ignition sources, and incompatible substances. 
Incompatibilities:  Alkali and alkaline earth metals, powdered aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and berillium. Strong oxidizers. Lewis or mineral acids. Reacts explosively with iodine pentafluoroethylene.
Polymerization:  Will not occur. 
Decomposition:  Thermal decomposition products are toxic and may contain oxides of carbon, halogens, halogen acids, and possibly carbonyl halides.
